And then God created …

God created this and

God created that

and then;

Ever so deliciously

He created mangoes πŸ₯ ❀️

And I thank Him

From the core of my heart ❣

God created luscious strawberries and cherries, and He created apples and oranges and grapes and so many fruits with all His love; and I, the fruitarian that I am, love them all. But mango remains the kings of fruits. How can one not love God and believe in Him after eating a mango β€οΈπŸ˜‚β€οΈ

I love fruits πŸ‡ πŸ‰ 🍈 and I can live on fruits alone. And all fruits remind me of God. How randomly and thoughtlessly we peel an orange and eat it. Have you ever wondered at the beauty and the intricacy of its design? From where does this intelligence comes? God alone.

Oh yes, He is visibly and undeniably present even in a shrub of grass and a wild flower. But He is so deliciously present in mangoes, the fruit of my heart πŸ’•

And we are so lucky in India to have a huge variety of mangoes. The season begins with ‘Badami’ and mangoes from South. Then the so very delicious – Alphonso from Maharashtra. It is our favourite in April and May. And then come monsoon and ‘Langda’ and ‘Dussehri’ from North; followed by the so very sweet ‘Chausa’ !! And so many others in between. I love them all. But if I were to pick favourites : it would be Alphonso and Langda 😊πŸ₯

And come September

They start to vanish

From the shelves

And that breaks my heart πŸ’”

Nothing lasts….not even mangoes… (I was so lucky in December and January- could eat mangoes in Guatemala and Brisbane 😊❀️πŸ₯)

Which is your favourite fruit?
