Begin to weave …

Begin to weave and the divine will provide the thread … read this beautiful proverb today and was reminded of my favourite quote of Henry David Thoreau. How that quote changed my life decades back!!

For many many years now my life has been lived around these 3 quotes :

First : Mathew 6.33: โ€œBut seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things will be added unto theeโ€

Second : Henry David Thoreau – โ€œIf you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams and endeavour to live the life you have imagined, you will meet with success unexpected in common hoursโ€

Third : Don Juan to Carlos Castaneda– โ€œIt doesnโ€™t matter what our specific fate is, as long as we face it with ultimate abandonโ€

It saddens me to see people struggling. It saddens me to see people sad. It is sad to see them waiting for some more money, better health, better job, a good and loving partner…. to start living the life of their dreams. But that rarely happens….

People who live fulfilling lives don’t wait for things to change. They grab and embrace life today. Such people may be called dreamers or visionaries or crazy. They don’t bother. They simply live.

I challenge you to start to WEAVE, to start to live the life of your dreams, and can assure you the thread will follow… there is no end to God’s bounty.

  1. I am so glad my friend. You have made my day and am glad that my effort was worthwhile ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
I tell this to my family and friends and they donโ€™t understand ๐Ÿ˜Œ
    Thank you so much

  2. This is nothing but beautiful!

I would never would have known this if I hadn’t read this. I’m so so grateful dear friend.

“People who live fulfilling lives donโ€™t wait for things to change. They grab and embrace life today”

    That penetrated my soul.

I promise to live that truth

  3. Wow! Thanks for the words of encouragement! Youโ€™re right. In Him nothing is lacking. My daughter is leaving for Spain next month. I post about it on Friday. So thatโ€™s another place for me to visit. โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

  4. All the best Dawn. I suggest fix a date or timeline to go. Maybe with your daughter and it will work out.
You have such a good connection with the spirit of Christ and Jesus is your personal saviour. Nothing shall ever be lacking.
I visited SF long long back – 1983! But was in LA earlier this year.

  5. Thanks Ashok! I see I previously read this and commented, but it was refreshing to read it again. I appreciate the reminder. Itโ€™s important to begin to weave. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ

  6. This is such a great post! Reminds me of the scripture that says we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7). Many times we sit waiting for God to move when He is saying, โ€œIโ€™ve already told you what to do, make a step.โ€

  7. Going behind material goods will not bring happiness. With faith in God, we can settle for spiritual peace. Three thoughts to give reasons to think positive.

  8. I love this post! I do my best to live by Matthew 6:33. Seeking His face is what itโ€™s all about. Like you said, we donโ€™t need to wait for material changes. Instead we need to live the life God has given us. Iโ€™m thankful we connected. Thanks for this post ๐Ÿ˜Š

  9. I’ll add one of my favorite, life-guiding quotes: “Whatever you can do, or think you can do, begin it: boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.” – Goethe

  10. A very truthful and divine thought. The whole write up was so true to itself, Ashok. The quotes were the Reality and yes why don’t we start weaving with the Divine and He will be there threading all of us together in His Love.
