God is not a scholar

God is not a scholar. He is a LOVER πŸ’–πŸ’•

Today is the birthday (Janamasthami) of Lord Krishna. He sang His eternal song of love through the divine melody of His flute more than 5000 years ago.

God is Love and Love is all there is πŸ’–

When you pass on to the other side, God is not going to ask you: How many houses you had, how many cars you had, what was the last position you held. He is not going to ask you –How much you loved your parents, your children or your spouse. He is not going to ask you whether you loved Trump or Obama; whether you loved Modi or Nehru; whether you loved Kohli or Cook; Messi or Ronaldo! He is going to ask you only one question, ” How much did you love Me, My child?”

Love God, your Lord with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul πŸ’–πŸ’•u

And the only way we can show our love to God is by loving and serving all His children — of all colours, classes, creeds and religions and of all nations. And by loving and nourishing nature and our environment. There is no separation. One Consciousness, One Love pervades the whole of creation.

BECOME LOVE πŸ’• Β©

  1. I am so glad it resonated with you James. I wish all of us could imbibe a little bit of spirit of Jesus Christ πŸ™
    Thank you so much

  2. This is an amazing post. I agree we have to love each other the way Jesus Christ loved everyone when he was on earth during his earthly ministry. The words and the Parables hold true today if we read them carefully. And then carry them out. I love God with all my might, mind and strength. I love Lord and Savior just as much and I love The Holy Ghost just as much. My faith grows each day and that is important. Thanks Ashok for sharing such a tremendous post with us !!

  3. Thank you so much Sharon. Yes I know Bible would support this. Teachings of all sages and prophets of all religions are so pure but we get so lost at times.

God be with you my friend. Keep shining your light

  4. Exactly! In the Christian Bible it says in Philippians 2 2-4: fulfill my joy by being like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in loveliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also got the interests of others.
I think there is a parallel here. The issue is there would be less problems in the world if we thought of others better, we cared about others more. There is a lack of love.

  5. Yes, God may ask what we did about loving others. But even more, will see that Jesus Christ is living in us. It is how we can love. Love comes from God.

  6. If one’s love to a fellow being (living or non-living) is same as the love has for oneself, then nothing else would matter and there would not be any necessity for questions from the Almighty

  7. Thank you so much Dr. And yes I can feel that in your posts too. We are all connected and evolving together. Ours is truly an interconnected co-existence.
    Namaste πŸ™

  8. Very well put my friend. I am happy to call you that, even though I don’t know you, because any person that can and will write what you did is a fellow traveller on this path we call life. Namaste!!!

  9. You’re welcome Ashok….I’m loving your posts…

    Hey Btw,
I’m requesting you to check the below link & please write your comment. Previously I had contacted you to re-follow me after I migrated my site as my followers (including yourself) weren’t receiving the notification when I was publishing the post. Unfortunately, the issue hasn’t been resolved yet & this is my last try.

Please do mention in your comment / feedback that you did not receive any notification (if you haven’t) and I’ve personally contacted you with the link to read my post, such that WP can read & hopefully troubleshoot the issue. Your feedback will help me in taking the decision.

Thank you kindly in advance πŸ™βœ¨
