Don’t fool yourself…

Don’t fool yourself Ashok

That you have figured out life!

Don’t belittle yourself either

That you know nothing!!

You are and shall always remain

A Work in Progress!!

You are and shall always be

Perfectly Imperfect!!!

  1. This is so true, it’s almost like never taking for granted every second of any day, no matter how you feel, to be with it as it could change in an instant. I’m not sure if I have explained very well what I wanted to say.🦋

  2. Yes my wise and younger, learner friend. Thank you so much 😊 💖

Whenever I have thought finally I know, life gives me another lesson. When I thought I was hundred percent right, life proved me wrong. No more do I say that I know 😊

  3. I love this, I feel like you wrote this for me without sounding self centred.
We are all teachers and students our whole lives. The more you learn, the less you realise you know, I too am a forever student and happy to be one. Learning makes me feel alive.
Congratulations on your 2 years of blogging🦋
Every accomplishment should be celebrated no matter how big or small,it’s all perspective.🦋💙🦋

  4. Ashok, you defined life with two awesome phrases. Indeed, we are all “works in progress.” God continues to mold me with each precious day. Thank goodness He understands my “imperfect perfection.”

  5. We need to remind this to us tome and again, when surrounding appear to fall in the trap of the perfection myth. As always i find something that stays with me for long, in your posts.🌸

  6. Indeed, it is true!!
My studies are Okay😅 last semester, so not much classes 🤷‍♀️

  7. Thank you so much Kamal for your words of encouragement and the book review. It was so sweet of you to persist in getting it published 👏👏

  8. Awesome and lines of reality so well penned, Ashok. Ashok I have at last reviewed your book. Do go and have a look and then let me know if you have received my review. Such a beautiful poem.

  9. You’re both crazy and awesome! We will have time to stop perfecting ourselves, after having lived – waiting every day is a new day to enjoy at best

  10. Life is too deep to be figured out in one lifetime. It is going to take us atleast a 100 lives to understand the true essence of life and once we understand it,we will cease to exist.
This poem is beautifully written and truly brings up the ignorance of the human beings in just a few simple words.

  11. So beautiful! Absolutely love the purpose of this and it’s a perfect reminder to us all!! Keep shining, I always look forward to your posts 🖤🖤
