We had stopped taking news paper more than a decade back, and had stopped watching TV news a few years later. Both these thrive on negativity and sensationalism.
There was so much negativity all around recently that I stopped watching even headlines on my mobile, and Whatsapp forwards 😊
Am Blissfully Ignorant 😇

Even I don’t watch news for that matter, because the very purpose of journalism I guess is in deterioration day by day. All it creates is a brouhaha of negative thoughts on your mind.

Honestly so much of media is drama fuelled.. I do think its important not to turn our faces away from what this is doing but we need to keep it in perspective too…that said there are some positive things coming through with those determined to keep the joy alive.. I find music and dancing and nature far more nourishing than so much drama the world seems to feed on, but sometimes I do get caught up…
Yes Ashok you had told me about your sister and she said it so truly and you know all of these spiritual masters who have realized Him are all his channels and God knows what to speak from them and they too become our guide and deliver us to our realself of knowing who we really are. To be with a realized person of God is absolutely great and you must do what your heart tells you. You know Kamal, that I am a devotee of Paramahansa Yogananda and he was love incarnate. He always asked us to be smile millionaires 😊
My older sister is also a devotee and also revers Mehr Baba. She tells me they (Yogananda and Meher Baba) are same – only love 💕 and they are looking after us 🙏
God is love and love is all there is 💕🙏
I also stay away from the news as much as possible.
I am also blissfully ignorant lol … I do not do any social media – just this – left it behind because of the negativity also…
I also stopped watching the news because it is biased and usually full of sensationalized stories of negativity or something bad…
Was too much… I have peace now leaving all that behind… obviously I do have to check the news from time to time and now it just floods in my life with this virus thing 🤨 but whatever
Yes we do need to strengthen our beliefs and what is important to us … absolutely
But I also hope this teaches us to all stand together? 🙏 I really like that part … we are all experiencing the same things and kinda have that band of connection through that?
I hope we learn many things from this!! Is an event making an impact hopefully good comes out after all this we go through

Fantastic picture, Ashok and I completely agree with your lovely post. Ignorance is totally Bliss and it is nice to not know what is happening and getting worried. God knows what he is doing and all will be good. Let us all be positive and think united as one big happy family where we are free from selfishness.
