LIEBSTER AWARD πŸŽ‰ πŸ’ πŸ’–

It has been a pleasure knowing Cherryl and am thankful to her for this award. A visit to her Travel and Lifestyle blog is always refreshing, to say the least πŸŽ‰πŸ’

Well here are my answers to Cherryl’s 11 thought provoking questions:

  1. If you were forced to leave the country you live in, but you could choose any other country to be relocated to for the rest of your life, which country would you choose?

Oh that would be sad. But ..

If I have to move it would be to USA, because my Guru, Paramahansa Yogananda, spent more than half of his life there. I would live in LA. Weather in California is great and we have our SRF Mother Center there πŸ‘‡

2. Which animal do you admire the most?

Cats…..Because my princess loves them.

3. If you could dis-invent one thing, what would it be and why?

Money

Money is the root cause of most of the greed, misery and heartburn in the world.

4. If you had the entire world’s attention for five minutes, what would you want to say?

Be aware of the politicians. All of them. There are no exceptions. They manipulate. They distort reality and they play with your mind.

Keep away from media – TV/Newspaper; They thrive on negativity and are completely controlled.

God is Love and Love is all there is. Be kind. Be humane. Serve. Share. Appreciate. Respect. Understand. Don’t run after money and power and sex …. they never ever give lasting happiness. In the end they bring suffering only. Be kind and humane and serve others. This brings far deeper and enduring happiness.

5. Do you think the blogging world is changing in any way?

Everything changes. Blogging is no exception.

6. Is there anything you’d like to do that scares you at the moment?

Parachuting πŸͺ‚

7. What’s your favourite dessert?

Caramel Custard : because my father used to love it.

8. Which social media platform do you use the most?

WP and Whatsapp equally 😊

9. Are you more of a morning person, or a night owl?

Very very morning person 😊

Peace

Stillness

Meditation

10. Share one song that always puts you in a good mood.

It is a Hindi song my wife used to love – Kisi ki muskarahton pe ho nissar (to lose yourself in someone’s smile 😊)

11. Share one random fact about yourself.

Coffee is not my cup of tea β˜•οΈπŸ˜…

I love Lipton Darjeeling tea. Brewed 4-5 minutes. With one teaspoon of sugar and one spoon of milk. Next best is Earl Grey Darjeeling.

Nominations:

I was keen to nominate Lia and Radhika for the Small Joys Tag but that award had limitation of 5 nominees. I would like to nominate them both now and would request them to tell us 11 things: 5 things/thoughts/facts about themselves and 6 Small and Big Joys — Total of 11 πŸ˜‡

Cherryl I do hope you will forgive an old man for not following the Tag process completely.

And all my dear friends — I would so love to hear your answers too, to the questions Cherryl had asked me.

Stay safe. Stay happy. Have more Faith.

  1. Ashok, your responses offer wonderful details about you. Thanks for sharing. I remember you being a tea drinker after we discussed my love of coffee, but I frequently enjoy a cup of English Black tea early in the afternoon.

  2. Thank you so much Richard. So true about politicians and media.
My Guru, Paramahansa Yogananda, always said Politics have very dark energy and to keep away 😊

  3. Not only different Lia – it looks like a dream – the visit. If I didn’t have hundreds of pics I might have actually thought it never happened πŸ˜…

  4. Oh that is so sweet: to make a move to be closer to your dad. God bless you πŸ’–πŸ™

I went to East Coast Canada this time last year. And it appears to be another life time πŸ˜‡

  5. Blogging is my favourite hobby, I make time for it as I can and writing doesn’t take long. Oh, that is odd that you couldn’t open the site! The site has always been online the past days. Not sure what happened. Still nice to connect here though! We moved from France to Canada after travel became allowed again, to be closer to my aging dad. Nice that you are also mobile, even within the country. πŸ‘πŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈπŸ’›

  6. With all this going on you still manage to write and respond. Wow.

I got concerned as didn’t see any post and couldn’t open your site. At times WP behaves strange 😝

When you have sometime do let me know details of your move 😊 We kept moving all our lives but within the country πŸ’–

  7. It’s so very busy right now, setting up house and home after an international move, organizing school, plus doing the usual as a mom of four, but yes it’s going a-ok pretty much, Ashok, thank you. πŸ€—Hope you are well too. πŸ™πŸ’–

  8. Many Congratulations Sir on a well deserved award..🌹
And many such more to come..πŸ™

This song is one of my favourites too..😊

  9. Thank you so much my wild yet calm friend.

If money wasn’t there things would have evolved on their own. People would have shared with love and worked with love. There wouldn’t have been any rat race to be a winnerπŸ’–

  10. Your answers are full of wisdom. Super great post! And congratulations on this… πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—

  11. It is my pleasure equally Lia to know you. Thank you so much for reading and appreciating.

They are brilliant and I love reading your opinion on things, because I respect it so much. I will try Lipton darjeeling. ;)) But also I meant all the other stuff. :)) Much love to you and much much gratitude Ashok, I feel so lucky to know you online. πŸ™πŸ™πŸŒ»πŸ’–

  14. Thank you so much my friend. Getting all on the same level playing ground is Utopia. Let us hope and pray for the best πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—

  15. Congrats on the well-deserved award! And thank you for the morning ‘awwwws’ with those kittykat photos. So sweet!
I’m totally with you on dis-inventing money. I keep wondering – and I know the technical mathematics behind it would screw things up – but why can’t countries just print billions and billions, getting all countries on an even playing field, giving those that need it enough to eradicate poverty and hunger and illness, then just start again?

I’ll check out Cherryl’s blog now. Have a great Tuesday!
    Caz xx

  16. Not all princess but for most. Money is inert. It has no energy of its own. It picks up our energy. For responsible and kind persons money is good.

But my point was not about money per se : pre money time people lived and shared together. There was no hoarding.

Money, Power and Sex are closely linked and I believe the root cause of most ills, but not all.

Thank you so much my dear and intelligent princess – for your love and introducing me to Sweetie πŸ’–πŸ€—

  17. Congratulations my belovedest Uncle πŸ˜πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽ‡πŸŽ†
Is money really responsible for all the greed and misery ? Where is the human responsibility then😊
    Amusing response and beautiful pictures😻😍😻
