This too shall pass….

Whole of life is cyclic

Nothing lasts

This too shall pass!

As day follows night

Spring follows winter

Ebbs must follow every tide!

Whole of life is cyclic

Nothing lasts

This too shall pass!

Night is the coldest

And is the darkest

Just before dawn!

Whole of life is cyclic

Nothing lasts

This too shall pass!

Like the sea becomes still

After every storm

So shall our life!

For it is cyclic

Nothing lasts

This too shall pass!

Never lose hope

Have no fear

Love shall always prevail!

Let this mantra be

Engraved in our heart

Whole of life is cyclic

Nothing lasts

This too shall pass!

PS: Covid situation in my dear country is really grim. And sadly it is due to utter lack of empathy and foresight of our government. Our PM and Home Minister are more concerned about defeating Mamta (Didi) in West Bengal than the millions suffering due to lack of basic facilities ☺️

My only solace is : This too shall pass. Let us keep praying for the suffering masses and wisdom for our leaders πŸ™

Thank you so much for your understanding, love and support πŸ‘

  2. Yes Ruelha- this is the biggest blessing or tragedy of life – Nothing lasts …. nothing whatsoever….

  3. So tru Ashok…whole life is cyclic.
Nothing lasts forever. This too shall pass!
SO wise. Never get caught in the moment. Enjoy and move ahead cos this too shall pass….good or bad.

  4. Well that sucks. But I think the problem must be something else because all my other friends can see it😊

  5. You’re most welcome.. I feel if I loved reading someone’s creativity in which he/she gave time ..it’s my duty to stop a bit and give feedback..it gives a sense of self pleasure to them ❀️

Even I don’t like to be in political talks and everything..but this time it was very pinching to the eyes!

    Yes nothing lasts forever..❀️

    Stay happy and healthy

  6. I hope you can fix it quickly. The url I see is: ASilentHill.Wordpress.com
This is your site isn’t it?

  7. Thank you so much Ahiri for your kind words.

I keep away from politics but this time I prayed that Didi should win. History and Karma will never forgive Modi-Shah 😌

Thank God that nothing lasts. Covid shall exit and so shall this infamous duo

Thank you so much once again

  8. Wonderfully written and at the perfect time! Loved reading it! ❀️

Exactly, that’s the point.. winning Bengal is now more of concern than winning over covid for PM and Home Minister at this point! That they’re constantly travelling Delhi Bengal ..Bengal Delhi πŸ™‚

I second your sayings.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS ❀️

  9. I absolutely loved your poem on “This too Shall Pass”. You used it in one of the most beautiful ways I’ve heard it said and used in such a way as if it is to give me more hope.

  10. Glad you found peace after writing this. We need to cheer up Hope to stay and better the surroundings soon.
It shall pass sooner. Welcome kindly πŸ™‚

  11. You need to do some correction – the url from which you are commenting doesn’t have 598223167
I could read your posts from this link

  12. Yes my dear Kritika. Very tough times and I am sad and hurting. And I wrote this to pacify my hurting soul. But I do know that if we lose hope we lose life and yes – This nightmarish dream too shall pass.

    Let us keep praying πŸ™

    Thank you so much Kritika.

  13. Thank you so much Lia. Am so glad the words resonated with you.

Of course you can use the photo.

This is the beauty and the tragedy of life : Nothing lasts …

Stay safe. Stay loved and keep shining your light Lia πŸ’–πŸ€—

  14. I am questioning Hope. Is it alive? The heavy loses we are incurring due to the miscreants what about it. I really hope this too pass sooner. 😦 πŸ˜₯ I really am hopeless.
The photographs are amazing. Full of hope and prosperity.

  15. Ashok… that photo is just amazing. I just wrote a quick ekphrastic on it… could I feature your photo in my post? With credit links of course! Either way, it’s Divine. Your words are perfect too and a good reminder for anyone in need of it. “This too shall pass,” I remember someone said that to me once some years ago when I was grieving; it helped me a lot in that moment. Much love for India πŸ’— xoxoxo

  16. Nooo??? Going to have a look, it should do and has done. Thankyou for letting me know xxxx

  17. So moving, I pray that this shall pass, sending love, light and energy πŸ¦‹

  18. Thank you so much my friend. I appreciate it truly.

Yes, the world is driven by greed. The big difference is: In the US when Trump did something stupid or said something stupid people could criticise, but in India Modi has been made into a god 😌

Let us keep praying for the well being and peace in the whole world.

Thank you so much once again for your prayers.

  19. When I served 4yrs in prison I said that mantra everyday. “This too shall pass”. It finally did and I’ve been home almost 3 full yrs now,

  20. I just want to say that you’ll forever be in my prayers as well as the suffering countries that are recieving no help due to covid, but the leaders are worried about more less important things here as well. Im in the US and our leaders here too are more worried about recieving money or having to give money than helping the poor and sick ppl that need it most.

  21. ‘This too shall pass’ — This is my most favourite quote of all time …I find comfort and solace in this when all others fail πŸ’•πŸ’•

  22. Oh yes 😊 everything is as it should be or could be or would have been πŸ˜‡

    Thank you so much 😊

  23. Praying for this to pass soon! Blessings.πŸ’

Also, I found a song with this same title and I think it’s wonderful. Actually there’s nothing much about the lyrics but the video is amazing! πŸ₯³πŸ€—βš˜

  24. Thank you so much Sushmita. Good to see you on WP after a long time 😊

I know how busy you have been πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—

You too my dear: stay safe and take care πŸ€—

  25. Yes Uncle, this too shall passπŸ™ stay home, stay safe. We all are far away yet together, spiritually.
Take care of yourself uncle πŸ™‚

  26. Good words to live by. I remember my mother repeating those words to me during difficult situations when I was a kid, and I often remind myself to this day, when things look grim, “this too shall pass.” Thanks for posting Ashok

  27. Ohh!! How did I miss this beautiful post! Very gorgeous pictures and the words you have written perfectly match to them! Stay blessed β€οΈπŸŒ»πŸŒ·πŸ€—

  28. Yes with the grace of God! We should keep praying for the struggling souls crossing fingers to see the human life to become normal. As his name be glorified. Amen. πŸ™

  29. My heart and prayers have been with you all in India Ashok and your pictures and words this too shall pass are priceless treasures and our mantra as we face each day. all of my love to you and those you love. xoxoxoxox β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

  30. So true Goutam. Thank God all turned out well for you.

I too get so many calls for prayers and healing. Our government has let us down terribly. Nightmarish times … thank God nothing lasts.

Yes, prayer is the highest we can do πŸ™

  31. The picture is really grim. Too many calls for help from friends of friends and lives being lost. Feel so helpless at times. Having gone through this myself a few weeks back, I also realise probably I was lucky that it happened to me just before the situation went out of hands. God knows what would have happened otherwise. In such a situation, one can only raise or fold one’s hands in prayers.

  32. Each line is very true Ashok, life goes on n nothing shall remain. Pic views are beautiful giving some pleasantness to the eyes n mind πŸ₯°

  33. Beautiful reminder, both that all things pass, and that those of us with basic facilities are very, very fortunate and that everything outside of basic wellness is extra to be grateful for. I’ve been pondering that a lot too lately. Hugs and love xoxo

  34. This too shall surely pass and we have to keep implicit faith and keep on praying that all of humanity comes out safely and happily. Awesome poem and brilliant pictures taken, Ashok. I completely agree when will our politicians learn what it is to be selfless and take care of their people who are suffering for basic amenities.

  35. Yes. Indeed. This is the first time in our life time where the whole 🌎 is simultaneously going thru the same woe. The whole 🌍 needs prayer.

  36. Of course! I know, we just have to grow through it…we are more powerful/strong than we know! PS – I’m starting your book today, so excited πŸ–€πŸ€—

  37. Photos are amazing ☺️
I absolutely agree with your political review . We should have more concerned about covid 19 rather than politics because of this pandemic situation our final exam or you can say our college entrance exam can be postpone or cancel .
I hope 🀞🀞 this too shall pass.
Our country faces a massive loss that had ever happened in every field.

  38. Let’s hope for the best. This too shall pass. Your expressions are very genuine in this poem. I also liked how you raised the wrong notions of the govt. People should be the first priority after all.

  39. Oh so good, Ashok ji. Your poem, particularly repetition of the line, “this too shall pass” provides a lot of solace to all of us. Thank you πŸ™

  40. Beautiful and hopeful as always, Ashok. It is sad that poor leadership and misplaced priorities cause such suffering. Sending thoughts of healing and recovery…πŸ’›

  41. Wonderful poem and beautiful photos, Ashok. I have heard about the covid crisis in your country. There are parts of mine where the leadership is completely mis-managing this situation as well. Yes, this pandemic shall pass, but I hope some of these poor leaders pass into obscurity along with it.

  42. I am so sorry to hear that India is being hit with another Covid surge. The human suffering for victims and families alike is just incalculable. I hope wiser heads in your government will soon prevail to get the thing under control.

  43. Yes, this too shall pass is a very comforting thought always!
    Pictures are very beautiful Ashok!

  44. Thank you so much Ace πŸ’–πŸ€—

This too shall pass. But I am still so sad at the utter lack of empathy from our government and shoddy governance 😊

  45. Political and financial gains of few. Hope they know soon what they’re doing for short run benefits..

  46. I wish this situation must be improved. Govt should be more aware of health of the people. With COVID-19, suddenly common cough and cold cases also rising rapidly. People are arranging weddings, they’re not aware of COVID-19 cases.

Local people have developed several myths about the corona virus and the govt. They fear both.

I’m praying with you – this too shall pass…😊

  47. A beautiful piece and such lovely pictures!! Amazingly done, my friend!!! It’s a good reminder to us all, no matter what we’re going through…it shall pass!!! Big hugs and love πŸ€—πŸ–€πŸ’«

  48. Faith over Fear is one part my dear friend.

Utter disregard for life and focus only on political gains is bad karma. Let us keep praying πŸ™

    Thank you so much

  49. It could’ve passed sooner with wiser administration.. prayers for the adversely impacted πŸ™ may our faith win over widespread fear πŸ™
