Renewal

You lose love

You lose friends

You lose pieces of yourself!

And out of the blue

Some pieces come back

New love is found

Better friends are around!

And one fine morning

You look in the mirror

And see a new you

Beautiful and glowing

Stars and the moon

Shining in your eyes!

With renewed hope and courage

And a bounce in your steps

You step out

One more time!

  1. Thank you so much Aqsa. And thank you so much for reaching out. I shall respond soon πŸ’–πŸ™

  2. The message is absolutely true. When losing things, people and jobs it’s as if the whole world is ending. And then months or years later you look back and wonder why you ever thought your world was ending while it probably was just starting.

  3. What you have written is carpediem855043276.wordpress.com
And from the page you have written it is carpediem.wordpess855043276.com

  4. Earlier I was getting the notification that site is deleted

  5. Oh my goodness! I wonder what’s wrongπŸ€”.

  6. We should always take care of our loved ones and those who are round us, but also we should not be stopped to distance with some people, simply out of a fear we might be alone, because as you say in your poem: new love will be found and better friends will be around!

    Cheers!

  8. We have to or to say we are bound to, to survive else we would go lost in the chaos of this world.. 😊 Very well written Uncle, always so full of positivity and truth. πŸ€—πŸ’•

  9. One really need to have that hope and courage to face every coming day, to smile and to rise and shine. Life would’ve been really difficult if not for these wonderful blessings whom we call friends.

    Wonderful poem once again.

  11. This is such a beautiful interpretation Ashokji! All restlessness is on the surface, while we get only complete peace when we immerse ourselves forgetting everything else πŸ’–

  12. Wow Deb 🀩
What an awesome commentary on life.

As long as we are waves we shall the tossed around and we shall come and go. Restlessness is only on the surface where the waves are. But when we merge in the sea and go deep there we find only peace πŸ™

Thank you so much for the visit and your wise words Deb.

  15. Beautiful poem Ashokji, so full of hope and Love. Your posts always bring so much hope!

I think we are like boats that are cast off a shore into the vast ocean of life and destined for the far far horizon where our sun would eventually set. There are so many waves and troughs, ups and downs on the way. We need to be thankful for every new wave life brings, we should enjoy cresting the wave and when it passes countinue the journey with the memories of the time spent. If we always look backwards at the waves that have already passed us by then we won’t meet the new waves, we would be lost in the endless sea and would never reach our horizon.
